...to guide people to a transforming relationship with Jesus.

Whether it's through a lyric, a thought, an event, a moment, a chord or a note, my desire is to be a guide toward Jesus, to create a platform for meeting with Him, and to challenge hearts toward deeper thoughts of the ways of God.  I am no captain, no great hero, and certainly no priest, but I am trying each day to walk with Jesus, and it's my desire to invite you on this journey.

I've come to understand that the core of my desire is to do much more than just play songs.  The place I find joy, refreshment, and a closeness to the presence of God is when I am able to help guide people to a transforming relationship with Jesus.  That may happen in or through a song, or it may happen through a time of teaching and sharing, or it may happen in sitting with friends and talking about life.  The common thread in all these is if we ask for and allow Jesus to speak through us, then truth becomes 4-dimensional (the 4th dimension is spiritual!) and He takes it to a place inside a man's soul that we could never in our own ability.  So, my desire is to walk with others, not as one who is there, but as one who is on the journey.

Sharing, teaching, communicating the truth of God... this is at the core of what I find the most satisfaction and joy in.  I love to teach through music, and to use the music as a platform, but I'm just as excited about leaving the guitar at home and having the opportunity to share what Jesus has taught me, simply through words.

....there are reasons for these songs being written, stories behind them, and truth throughout, every song I write is a story in some way of my life or those I've come in contact with.  Within them you'll find a story to these songs that may be your very own... because a song without the heart is like a painting without color.

I consider myself a platform builder more than anything else when it comes to musical worship times.  The times when it seems that the most connection to the Father happens  never have had anything to do with myself, the songs used or any other "manhandled"  aspect.  It always seems to be the times when I get lost in the presence of God that the doors open up.   I love spending time singing to our triune God and helping guide people into a place of worship in truth and spirit, but I leave it in the hands of each individual to choose to enter in.
